Turmeric processing line provides a complete system from raw turmeric to packed powder with excellent quality and low content of impurities. The line is complete/ fully automation based.

Raw turmeric primarily enters the receiving station of the plant. Unwanted turmeric is removed by using a sorting/inspection conveyor.

Turmeric is further passed into the washer with a control feed rate for removing sand, impurities, etc. Double-stage washing of turmeric takes place in his process line.

Washed turmeric is then thermally treated using a blanching operation in a blancher for killing micro-organisms. Then this blanched turmeric is sliced into the slicer machine according to the required thickness.

Then slices are further dried using a dryer according to the dryness fraction required. Dried chips are flavoured and packed for use.

The customized design of a complete turmeric processing line can be designed according to requirements.
