Raw Dates primarily enter the receiving station through the feeder of the plant. Dates are washed 1n a bubble-type washer through a double-deck washing conveyor. An air dryer is used for drying the dates uniformly. Deseeding occurs in the Destoner machine. After all this process, the date washing goes to blanching through a type of belt blanching steam or water. Grading, and sizing of dates in grading machine and rope size sorting machine. Finally, dates are packaged by a packaging machine.

After this process, there is a by-product from a date like date syrup, date honey, date paste, date molasses, etc. as a natural sweetener.

For this by-product (filing line) date, feed by the feeder. Dates are soaked by soaking tanks with the help of a stirrer and an out feed screw machine. Diffusion by mixing machine. Destoner (if) for deseeding the dates using jumbo creamer stoner. Separation of stone from the date pulp and syrup by using a super bi-creamer double-stage refiner. Enzymatic treatment of pulp and mixture by enzymatic treatment tanks. Pasteurization of pulp and syrup (mixture) takes place by plate Preheater or pasteurizer cooler. Clarify the mixture by clarifying standardizing tanks.

Filtration of mixture for date syrup in vacuum filtration. Evaporate the mixture for syrup concentration in the rising film plate evaporator and plate cooler. This is for the final product as date syrup. Dates Processing Plants And Machinery – Syrup Production.

For the date honey, the above process is the same but with additional equipment. Activated carbon, double filter by ultrafiltration, resins, again evaporator. And you get the final product as date honey and date molasses. The filling of date syrup and honey used aseptic filler i) bags-in-drum, ii) bags-in-boxes, iii) drum filler. For date paste, an additional mixer and a homogeneous mixture for the homogenizer pump were used. Automatic packaging dates paste in the pouch packaging machine.
